The big 1st birthday continued

She liked to play in the cake

Jammie time

Andee's 1st birthday today....oh man, time goes by fast!!!

Auntie Kate made Andee the cutest cake ever and it was so yummy too. I asked her to make it feminine for the girly girl she is, but then also sporty. Barron asked for baseballs. Kate put a scooter on for him too. She put little girl basketballers, like auntie Kate on it too. It turned out perfect. Thanks so much!!

She put her head on Didi's shoulder...melted his heart!!!

Gigi wanted some of the action too.

Doing her birthday dance...she is into dancing these days.

With the great grandmas

Barron's first day of school....he loved it so much!!

Barron started school Monday in the 2 1/2 yr class at Valley Christian Preschool. It is Monday and Wednesday from 9-11:45. His teachers are Mrs. Heather and Mrs. Christy. He hugged them on his way into class. He rode his scooter to school and home. It is close to our house and daddy went to work late so he could walk with us. When we were leaving Barron was cheering up a little girl who was crying because she didn't want her mom to leave. He was giving her toys and hugging her. It was so cute. It made me tear up. I can't believe he is in school. He didn't want to come home...."mommy, I want to stay at school all day!" He is the only boy in the class with 7 other girls. Another boy will be joining the class in October. Nama took him to Target to get some new school clothes. He picked them out and was so excited to wear them and his back pack.

So excited to go

Almost to school. Barron is getting so good on the scooter. A few good crashes lately, but he says, "I got to get up and try again!"

His classroom...he went right for the cars, and then the kitchen.
