Grandpa D came with me..what a huge help. Him and Barron played before the procedure.
Barron getting his weight. He was 29lbs. Lost some weight not being able to eat this morning.
When he got into the CT room, he wanted out of there immediately
They held the mask on and he only had to take a few breaths and he fell off to sleep
He didn't like the mask though
This was pretty traumatic for me (mommy) to watch. We will find out if he has to have surgery next week sometime and daddy is coming to surgery for sure. Now I understand why my mom could barely watch me snowboard and get hurt all those years. It is way harder when it is your child. I guess you never really get that until you have one...I was always like mom, "why don't you like to come to my competitions. Dad always comes?"
After the procedure he took awhile to wake up. They had an airway in to help him breathe.
With grandpa after...he got a pop-cicle and real apple juice in recovery....he was so happy about that.
They said to keep him mellow for the rest of the day...I was like yeah right. Barron is so busy these days. It is finally sunny in Portland and so we played outside a lot today.
Barron is giving Wilson a hug and kiss...he loves Wilson and Wilson is so patient with Barron. He climbs on him and dresses him up and Wilson just lets him.
Troy has his 6 month Hodgkin's checkup and CT this coming week. Please pray for him. He is feeling good and I know it will be a good scan, but he loves your prayers.
