Labor Day Roadtrip with Nama and Poppy......so fun...The Grizwalds in the Minivan

We drove to Seattle this weekend and visited my dad's two aunts...so my great and Barron's great, greats. They are in their 90's and we wanted them to meet Barron. Barron was so good with all the old people at the first nursing home. He smiled and waved a lot. He loves old people like his mommy. We had a hard time finding a place to stay Saturday night because everything was booked for Labor Day, but we managed to find a hotel in Kirkland. We had a good nights sleep and then shopped around the Pike Street Market and then headed back to the farm for the night. It was a fun roadtrip. Dad stayed home and built a garden shed and it looks awesome. Barron is going to want it for a fort someday.

Nama makes Barron laugh so hard

Barron loved pulling Nama's hair

We fed the fish on the dock and Barron loved watching them jump for food. Nama took him on a four wheeler ride too.

When we got home on Monday and by nightime it was almost done. It looks great... I will post a final photo when it is done.

  1. What a cute cowboy! Val and I are going to be up in Portland oct 9-11. I'm running the marathon. It would be fun to get together if you guys are around. Maybe the evening or afternoon of the 10th. I'm sure Val will be calling Troy soon! Take care, Elaine
