We had so much fun in Bend for Christmas. Barron was on his best behavior the whole time and everyone loved holding him and playing with him. He got so many cute gifts from everyone and we were so blessed this Christmas. We are glad to be home and getting back into our routine again. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Grandma Gigi and Grandpa D came to visit today too. They love to hold and play with Barron. The exercise ball has been a life saver for us this week. It was the best baby investment yet. Barron loves it and it calms him down almost every time.

Hogan is his new little brother's body guard. He is always watching him.

Barron has gained another pound this week and now weighs around 12 pounds. He is changing all the time and we are having so much fun being parents (minus being short on sleep).

I love walks

We have been walking with Barron in the stroller and in the bjorn on our front. Troy and I walked yesterday and we took the dogs with us for the first time. Barron on Troy's front and he had Hogan on a leash. I had Wilson in the stroller. Wilson has a hurt knee and so it is hard to take the dogs in one stroller and Barron  in the other stroller. Kate and I took Barron during the week and bundled him for the cold weather. He slept the whole way.

Wow...time has flown by this last month. I don't know where the days go. We have had some visitors this weekend. Uncle Ty came by to meet Barron and Barron liked being held by him. He was fussy and Ty held him and he stopped crying. That is a good touch with him because a lot of times nothing works to stop him from crying. He is 11lbs 10oz already and gaining about a pound a week. Grandma and Grandpa Schader babysat tonight and Troy and I went to dinner and did some Christmas shopping. It was nice to get out and they love being with Barron. He is in the bath now with his dad and loves that. Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year and not stressing out too much. We are loving being parents and hope you all can meet Barron soon.

First Thanksgiving

The first Thanksgiving was busy...up at 7 to put the turkey in and Troy's mom got to our house at 9 and we started cooking. She coached me on turkey and all the rest of the meal because I had not made them before. She actually did most of the work. Uncle Thor stopped by to kiss Barron on his way to my grandparents in Albany. The great grandparents on Troy's side all came and his uncle. We had fun and Barron loved all of the attention.
